Wenning’s Wedding Tip Wednesday
Your wedding photography is something you will want to share with others and view time and time again. This is not an area you want to take lightly. Anyone can grab photos during your special day; but a professional wedding photographer is going to be sure to adjust the lighting throughout the day. They should also be using quality equipment. You do not want to trust these memories to just anyone!
Start Your Search
It is important to start trying to book your wedding photographer as soon as possible. Many times these vendors begin booking up about 2-3 years in advance. Plus, you want to be sure to get your engagement photos done early so that you can incorporate them into your save the dates. Be sure to meet with your photographer to ensure they know what your expectations are for your Big Day.
What To Ask
Never assume that what one vendor offers is the same as the next. Some wedding photographers have add-on services included in their pricing packages. Your engagement session, an album and the rights to your photos can be considered an add-on service or a part of the package deal – it all depends on the vendor. You also want to be sure you know if there are a limited number of locations for your shots or if unlimited locations are included. Either way, be sure to ask so that you are not surprised by any hidden fees!
